Public Schools

The good news is that Harford County Public Schools offers a quality education. Class sizes are small with an average of 19 students per teacher. Forest Hill Elementary school is the only elementary school in Forest Hill. There are no middle schools in Forest Hill, but children may attend a middle school in a nearby community, such as in Bel Air. The same applies to the high school that your child may attend with Bel Air being the closest school. There are 10 high schools in Harford County.

Furthermore, the Harford County School District, in conjunction with the Red Cross, offers a Summer Swimming Program for children in Kindergarten through Grade 12. This program teaches fundamental aquatic skills, stroke development, stroke refinement, and swimming and skill proficiency.

Colleges

If you move to Forest Hill and you have children, having local college opportunities may be important to you. There are a number of quality colleges in the area like Harford Community College, McDaniel College, Loyola University, Brightwood College, CCBC Essex College Community, and Notre Dame of Maryland University.
